Acceptable use
By using our website, you agree to do so only for lawful purposes, and in a way that doesn't infringe the rights of anyone else or restrict their use and enjoyment of the website. Harassing, distressing or inconveniencing other users, including by sharing offensive content, is prohibited. Content on our website must not be used for marketing activities without our written consent, and you must not use our website for commercial communication.
Collecting the information
Information you give us. We collect personal information when you book a call, request a demo or fill in a form on our site. You may be asked for details such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, industry and some information about your business. We use it to give you the information or service you've asked for, such as arranging and running your call, sending you your write-up, or setting up a demo. Giving us this information is voluntary.
Calls and messages. If you have a call with us, we may record it, with your permission, so we can analyse what you've told us and prepare your report. If you request a demo, you may receive automated, AI-assisted text messages, and you can reply to them or stop them at any time.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records information that doesn't identify you by name, for security and to keep the site running. This can include:
- the date, time and duration of your visit
- the amount of data transmitted to you
- your internet domain and IP address
- information about your device and browser, such as browser type, operating system and screen resolution
- the pages you visit, and the website that referred you
Third-party content. Some pages include content hosted by other services, such as our booking calendar (provided through Fluent Booking on unfairadvantages.co). These services may set their own cookies when you use them, so please see their privacy policies for details.
Use of the information
Cookies. This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first. You can block or remove cookies in your browser at any time, though this may affect how some embedded services work.
Links. If you click a link to a third-party site, you're leaving our site for one with its own privacy policy, which we have no control over. We can't guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of other sites' information, and linking to them isn't an endorsement of the organisations or individuals behind them, their views, or their products and services.
Email and text messages. We follow UK electronic marketing rules (PECR). Every message we send makes clear who it's from and how to stop receiving them.
Opting out. You can opt out of our communications at any time. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or reply STOP to any text message.
Restricted access
We reserve the right to restrict access to parts of our website. If you've been given a username and password, it's your responsibility to keep them confidential.
Results and case studies
The results and case studies on this site come from specific pieces of work with real businesses, and some are shown without the client's name. Figures marked as estimates are estimates. Every business is different, and we don't suggest these results are typical or that you'll achieve the same. We present them in line with the UK Advertising Codes (the CAP Code).
Your control over your personal information
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails. Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you also have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or someone else. To make a request, write to us at the address below.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
We never knowingly collect personal data from, or contact, children under 13. If you believe we've received information from a child under 13, please let us know at the address below.
Protecting the information
We take reasonable precautions to protect any information you give us or that we collect. Access to it is restricted to the people who need it to do their work. This site is served securely over HTTPS. Please don't send confidential or private information to us by email, as it isn't a secure form of communication. If you do, you do so at your own risk. We never ask for card details or other sensitive information by email.
We work with trusted providers to run our services, such as website hosting, booking, our CRM and messaging systems, and AI processing. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We never sell your personal information.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We make no representations, warranties or assurances as to the accuracy, currency or completeness of the content on this website, or on any site linked to it. All materials on this site are provided as they are, without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of intellectual property or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, neither Unfair Advantages nor its agents or associates will be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the materials on this site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such loss. Nothing in this policy limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
Policy changes and revisions
We may amend this policy at any time. If it changes, personal information you've already submitted to us won't be used in a way that's inconsistent with this policy without your consent. We'll update this policy if our practices change, or as we find better ways to keep you informed, so please check back for the latest version and the date it was last updated. Changes don't apply retrospectively.
